Rockers Tiger Lily have returned with “Serotonin,” their second EP. The band picks up where June’s “Grouned” left off,  marking the latest chapter in bringing grungy rock back to the world. The EP is punishing in all of the right ways, with heavy guitars that crush against agonizing vocal deliveries. The release pairs emotional turbulence with a raw honesty that feels cathartic, while mixing from Howl Street Recordings and mastering from Carl Saff adds a polished edge to music that inherently feels rough for a reason.
