Singer/Songwriter Howl Broken Surfer returned with “KIllKIll,” his fifth album in just about two and a half years. The newest project is a searing solo effort built around raw intensity. There’s twang and heartfelt vocals, but it all feels very minimal at its core. There’s layered production at times, but the solo act feels most effective at his most intimate moments, including the dark, unfolding title track. Check out the record below:
