Over the weekend, alt-pop duo Fairy Astronaut put out their debut EP, and they’re ready to shake things up. With a blend of heavy synths and dramatic vocals, the duo are already creating songs with a lot of depth to them. On the initial seven tracks, the band also get a chance to lean into more traditional indie pop, which you can hear on songs like “Suburbia” and lead single “Yes Woman.” The band celebrated the release of the EP with a show at Vennture Brew Co., and have shows lined up throughout the remainder of the summer.
