The next generation of alternative rock is going to be okay. That’s the feeling you get when you hear young band Pareidolia’s self-titled debut album, which released last week. The band are clearly influenced by a previous generation of straight up rock and roll, and that comes across on 12 songs. The spirit of garage rock flows through them, with a DIY feel to an album built around catchy riffs and a growing cohesion between the band members.
