Royal Mill have a new single out as of last Friday, and they’re singing about feeling lost in the world and relying on love on “Denim Jacket.” This one takes things down a notch, but the band are sharp on a song that gradually builds up from an acoustic guitar over time. When all you’ve got is someone close to you to rely on, it can leave you wondering what to do when that person is gone, too. It’s a song about vulnerability, and the band capture that well.
