Pop outfit The Dobermans have a new record out today, merging contemporary alternative with pop sensibility on “Rich Millionaire’s Club.” The band are able to pull from different eras of top 40 rock on this one, guided by soft vocals throughout to navigate from one genre to the next. At times, there are no vocals, such as the title track of the record, and that’s fine. There’s room to explore on this album, which the band manage to do at just the right points. “Rich Millionaire’s Club” can feel like an exploration of the universe, channeled through these 12 songs.
