On Friday, Grey Genius dropped a new record, and reinvented herself to an extent with a smooth flow on “No Point.” The beat is dynamic, bringing equal parts bass and melodies, giving Genius the perfect canvas to spit over. It feels as though the bars are coming off of the cuff with her delivery, even though they aren’t. With verses that sound like Grey Genius is just spouting off rhymes effortlessly, this one becomes one that you have to put on repeat to truly capture the full feel.
