AUDIO: The Hallelujah Ward – “I Forced Myself To Live, Charlie Bee”

The Hallelujah Ward released their debut EP today, and while they’ve made their name playing live for some time, they truly shine on “I Forced Myself To Live, Charlie Bee.” The five-song release draws you in from opener “Managable Oblivion,” and never really lets you go. With a blend of indie influences that converge into this collection of songs, the band can release an outpouring of emotion at just about any point. While many new acts try to replicate the indie sound that took over the world in the early 2000s, this EP falls in that realm without having to try too hard to get there.
