HUMID returned recently with a new album that lives up to its name on “Pulverize.” With loud, ever-present guitars offset by blissfully sweet vocals, songs like opener “Infrared” find the beauty in chaos. This is the sweet spot for HUMID, who are also able to break things down on songsl like “Stag” and “Bend.” However, they’re at their best when they’re at their noisiest, and you can hear that across this album.
