Diet Lite released a new EP last week, and they’ve got a trio of covers on “Diet Lite Plays The Hits.” The band are at their most ferocious here, with the energy up and a string of rambling vocals on a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Subterreanean Homesick Blues.” They mellow things out just a bit for David Bowie’s “Queen Bitch,” and round things out with their live cover of Violent Femmes “Add It Up” from Summerfest this year. Diet Lite just headlined The Rave on an all-local bill as well, and there’s certainly more in the works. Check out the cover EP here:
