Hadnot Creek, a Charlottesville-based project led by singer/songwriter Robert Sawrey, has released a beautiful folk track called “Father Time” on their “Birds” album. Co-written with Tyler Sargent, formerly of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, the song features inviting vocals and meditative lyrics accompanied by plucky acoustics, twangy guitars, and frolicking piano. With Sargent on acoustic guitars and Ben Laderberg on electric guitar lead, “Father Time” is a wholly resonating success from Hadnot Creek. Check out the full album below:
