North Carolina pop punks Mknly have a new single, and they’ve teamed up with Milwaukee’s Gold Steps for “The Terminal,” a power ballad about relationship difficulties and being unable to see someone to rectify the problem. Gold Steps’ Betty Mauritz provides the female perspective of the situation, with a rebuttal to Mknly’s Benjamin Green. “The Terminal” is the audio equivalent of an Instagram collaboration post; both acts are able to get themselves into a new market, all while creating a quality track along the way.
