Modern Joey dropped a new single at the beginning of December, and it’s undeniabely funky. “Sweet Dreams” glistens with a jangly guitar, and dreamy keys that build up the atmosphere of the groove, creating something you need to move your feet to. Lyrically, the song deals with the tough times of a relationship, and ultimately the decision to move on from that. Earnest vocals over the funky jam makes for a little bit of salty and sweet all in one, and Modern Joey are exactly the band to deliver that.
