Diet Lite’s “Queen” has been a staple of their live show, but last Friday, the band rehashed the track with a new energy by giving us “Lightning McQueen,” a formal version of the sped up track. The original song, from 2021’s “Seems The Be The Way It Tends To Go,” is fully intact, but given a shot in the arm, remnisicent of the band’s off-the-wall live show. Diet Lite also recently just announced that they’ll be part of the first all-Milwaukee bill at Vivarium in 2024, so you’ll have a chance to hear this version of the song in a live setting as well.
