Berlin-based art-pop trio Mayuko has released their single “White Heat,” which explores the experience of a panic attack. Bassist Rebecca Mauch describes the song as a buildup of tension until it becomes unbearable, eventually breaking down and leaving one feeling empty. The vocals express a yearning for catharsis, with jumpy bass, tender strings, and spacey synths adding to the captivating production.
