Experimental artist Pendrop Poet recently put out a new record, with 16 tracks comprising “Mimic!!!” With a combination of spoken word pieces and harmonies, they show you the range of what they’re capable of in a variety of styles on this project. Nothing feels out of place or off-topic here, as the lyrics generally take center stage on these tracks. They’re not afraid to get personal, and thoughts on intrapersonal struggles or society’s treatment of those disenfranchised go hand in hand here. Check out “Mimic!!!” below:
