Dres’ latest EP, “Something Fun,” exudes a refreshing and carefree vibe that is tailor-made for the summer. Comprising of three tracks, the release captures an effortlessly light atmosphere, making you think of sun-soaked days and laid-back evenings. Dres balances his signature swagger with newfound elements, delving into different sonic territories. “Dance On My Own,” a dancehall-inspired track, adds a vibrant twist to the collection, and “Ride The Wave” with MNTRY shows the two artists can blend together well. While embracing a more melodic approach this time around, Dres keeps his confident persona shining on this EP. Dres keeps his signature style, just turned up a bit louder on this release.
