Hip hop artist Lonni Monae dropped a six-song EP last week. Kicking things off with lead single “Do Yo Shi”, Monae asserts herself with riotous energy and unapologetic swagger true to the EP’s title. Enlisting OnnaGrindTee and FYB Frank for features on “Ask Me” and “Trip” respectively, Monae drives home that she has no time for fake shit, broke shit or sneaky shit and isn’t afraid to confront anyone who throws that her way. With rambunctious hooks, aggressive flow and matter-of-fact mentality, Lonni Monae comes ready to throw smoke with “Fuck It.”
