After a relatively quiet 2022 on the release front, rockers The Almas come roaring back in a big way with their new single, “Cage.” With a pounding tone to it, the song is about a lover that is inescapable. Pulsating guitars drive the song forward, with vocalist Crystal Tiegland’s vocals showcasing her range, also acting as a bit of serenity amongst the chaos of the song’s pace. The video from Austin Scherzberg features a powerful soundstage performance from the band, reminiscent of big metal videos from a bygone era.
