Singer/songwriter Isreal Perez is going through some transition in his life, and he documents that with new single “The Embrace.” Swarmed by big production, the track has all of the elements of a pop hit, but acts as a platform for Perez to talk about his feelings. Spring boarding off of a relationship, Perez sings about taking the transition in stride, and moving on to become the version of himself that he is today. Aside from the personal talking points that get aired out here, Perez has a strong performance, which is complemented by the beat, to make everything feel like a dramatic turning point.
