The earth is a marvelous place, and instrumentalists Dennis Hawk and Dave Schoepke look to capture some of that feeling of floating through the world with a meditative jam, “Mother Earth.” With a persistent rhythm that feels almost tribal, augmented by weighted strings and synths, you feel weightless listening to the musicians work off each other. A glistening acoustic guitar feels like your tour guide, ultimately taking the lead duties at some point throughout the eight minute journey. “Mother Earth” is a song that feels transcendent, and you can hear the majestic tone of it all here below:
