Experimental noise project Restraint Malfunction released an EP deconstructing their track “Plangent Entropy” from an upcoming FTAM compilation. It’s four tracks of sparking, simmering noise that rumbles at one moment but hisses at another, showcasing the diverse textural palette that Restraint Malfunction incorporates. It feels like we’re wandering around in a large boiler room and can’t seem to find the exit, climbing through treacherous industrial contraptions as we go.
