With an inherit darkness about it, rockers 616 reemerged with a new single, “Cathedral Of Scars.” The song simply sounds big, with chugging guitars and powerful solos, all thread together by a riff of keys that feels almost like a horror movie. The vocals feel possessed to an extent, while telling an epic tale of pain and descending to the next life. 2022 saw four singles from the band, who seem like they are only first hitting their stride as an act, and we’re excited to hear more from the soon.
