AUDIO: Microheathen – “Trash Music”

Producer Microheathen has been putting out music all year, and caps off the busy year with “Trash Music,” a new project. With minimalist synth production, the album conjures up the sound of early electronic music, and carries a DIY spirit about it for a true underground feel. The occasional vocals are there on tracks like “Chuck Yaundry” and “Off Into The Next Day,” but the largely instrumental record is feels like it’s constantly driving forward into the next phase of itself. “Trash Music” reminds you of the open-ended nature of electronic music, and the earliest instances of a breakthrough into the mainstream.
