Tom Lesions of local legends Those X-Cleavers has a knack for undeniably catchy music, and he does that once again on recent single “Save It Stomp.” With guitar riffs that live on the upstroke, and a fittingly stomp-clap heavy beat, the track is bright and cheery to some extent. Lesions sings with just a hint of a twang, and additional backing vocals give everything a more anthemic quality. There’s a purity about “Save It” that is hard to manufacture, and Lesions and co. certainly give the real thing their all with the single. Check out “Save It Stomp” below:
