It’s officially spooky season once again, and that means that horror punks Ratbatspider are back with a new album, “Until Everything Is Red.” This offering from the band 11 tracks of fist pounding, dramatic thrash that could score your favorite b-movie. There’s no quit in the band, who put everything into each riff, and it’s all capped by vocals that are just as sinister as the lyrics themselves. When it would be easy to dismiss just about any dark themed punk act as a descendent of The Misfits or AFI (depending on your generation), there are times when “Until The Everything Is Red” can put those bands in their respective places.
