The artist formerly known as Black Eagle Star, Michael Jantz, recently released his fifth ambient piece of music. “Peace 5” starts with a dissonant, sweltering sound, before giving way to more harmonic elements. Brighter notes come together midway through, before once again breaking for the grimy sounds of distorted elements fade things out. In a way, the three and a half minute piece reminds you that there is beauty, even if it is surrounded by more off-putting things around it.
