Combining elements of metal and emo, rockers 616 have an anthemic recent single in “Blood And Silver And Gold.” With layered vocals throughout, the band build on crunching guitars, offset with bright keys. The vocals, as well as the melody, take precedent here, making you want to sing along with the hook. The lyrics, though, are about falling apart and putting the pieces back together.
