This whole life thing isn’t exactly easy work, and RAF & Company encapsulate that on their most recent track, fittingly titled “IDK.” The premise is simple; it’s about not knowing what direction you’re heading in life, but then again, who does? Subject matter is just a vehicle for musicianship in this sense, though, as the band gets to show off powerful vocal performances and a few blistering guitar parts along the way. There’s a raw aggression here as well, but the tightness of the band takes center stage. We’ve gotten a pair of songs in recent weeks from the band, so it seems like they may be up to something soon.
