The Fall Sound are back with a new record, and it was well worth the five-year wait. “Keep In Touch” is a full-length record full of energy and a tinge of aggression, with catchy lyrics to boot. It feels like a refreshed version of the early days of pop punk’s explosion in the late ’90s, with all of the warm toned guitars and gritty vocals that simply feel more authentic than most. The band can either keep things poppy, slow them down, or thrash with ease, and all of it is done well. If you long for the days of burned CD-Rs and free music from the Warped Tour, The Fall Sound can remind you of those times without going full nostalgia trip. “Keep In Touch” is the type of record any pop punk band would want to make.
