AUDIO: Darkpebble-BlueWave – “Wild Rose, Winter Garden”

Avant-garde classical project Darkpebble-BlueWave has a new record out, done in virtual collaboration with Paulo Chagas. Consisting of five improvised pieces, the two artists build synergy with grace and patience. Each piece is meant to represent the movements of a garden in bloom. Instruments they use include bass clarinet, alto saxophone, flute, singing bowls, piano, and chimes. Not only that; Wilhem Matthies (DP-BW) is known for having built and evolved his own bowed string instrument – the mosesa. Delicate in its elegance, this record champions the collaborative power of music, especially when it’s done under difficult circumstances.
