Honeymooners is the experimental electronic project of Eli Smith, an active member of Milwaukee’s DIY scene who has been at it for years. He recently dusted off an old demo and decided to put it out; he uses tape loops and guitar while singing to paint the picture of a prairie ablaze. It’s a metaphor for himself, symbolizing a cleanse for a new start. Quarantine got us all feeling like we’ve been resetting, so Honeymooners has a relevant premise done with textural bliss.
