Folk duo Wise Jennings have a new single out, and like many people may have been tempted to write in the last year, the song has an apocalyptic theme to it. “End Of The World (It’s Not)” is an emotional, dramatic sounding song with big sounding parts, but carries a message that life goes on, even when it doesn’t seem like things are looking rosy. Largely based around an acoustic guitar and only a tambourine for percussion, Wise Jennings does a lot with a little here, and it pays off. Deep string parts and plucks accent the track in a way that truly gives it some depth, and it has an almost cinematic quality to it. Check out “End Of The World (It’s Not)” below:
