Hip hop artist Phif has a new EP out. Featuring five tracks, the rapper confronts the harsh contrast of pain and love here. From dealing with past demons in “5AM Stretch” to struggling with a failing relationship in “On My Own” to being in a funk in “Never Know,” he lays his troubles out all at once but remains composed at each turn. Phif raps about being with someone who has stuck with through his lowest points in “EastSideLove” while “Me70” features Mo’City joining him on a flex track, so he’s still found ways to stay positive. Phif makes it no secret that he’s gone through some shit, but we can tell he’s excited to be back releasing music to make things make just a bit more sense.
