Electronic producer Travvy Trav recently dropped a new song and video honoring Black women. Sampling Kamala Harris’ inaugural words, Trav has crafted a powerfully emotive banger that gets you on your feet dancing. The video features clips of Black women at protests, marches, and speeches as well as headshots of Black women in politics and pop culture such as Oprah Winfrey, Whoopi Goldberg, Stacey Abrams, and Cori Bush to name a few. It’s an inspiring reminder of how Black women are the backbone of our democracy. Don’t forget it.
