Dubb Saq isn’t afraid to put his feelings on a track, and with his near-constant output, tracks can come across as diary entries. That’s the case for his latest, “Pretend”, where he gets in detail about a messy relationship, venting frustrations with an assumed ex. The dark production only makes things more effective, and Dubb Saq manages to keep things contemporary as well, working melodies into his bars. New music from Dubb Saq is never that far away, and while this may be a one-off, it’s his feelings in the moment, a testament to being able to create freely. Check out “Pretend” below:
