Wisconsin artist Alyssa Caroline may only be a freshman in college, but her singing and songwriting ability carry a sense of maturity. Her acoustic vocals are spoken from the heart, giving listeners a sense of vulnerability that speaks to the authenticity of her music. This is found in all of the songs she has released, but especially in “Through It All.” Bedroom pop is one of the most honest genres in music and this song is just that. It’s very low-key, very calming, and relatable all at the same time. She released seven songs throughout 2020 and we can’t wait to see what 2021 has in store for Alyssa.
