AUDIO: Jared Spiegelhoff – “Compositions from 2017-2019”

Experimental artist Jared Spiegelhoff is out with a collection of tracks he’s crafted over the last few years. There’s both acoustic and electronic elements; the opening track even utilizes what sounds like aluminum cans, the fourth track contains bird calls, and the fifth track incorporates rain sounds. Creating experimental music in of itself is sonic wizardry, but Jared Spiegelhoff in particular has a powerful method of blending sample-based movements with instruments such as cello, and the results are ever-so captivating. Hopefully he scores a film one day. This release was done in lieu of his senior recital.
