The artist formerly known as AWillThaGreat, and then just Awill, is now Plytme. His first single under the newest moniker showcases a new aspect to his sound, as “Guide You” is a song for the ladies with increased pop sensibilities. A slowed down, sensual track, the song manages to keep a uniformed feel with both the rap and R&B sides to the former Awill’s sound, mixing melody with bars that could double as Instagram captions. “Guide You” is the first release under a new name and label, Plyhse Records, so there’s much more on the way.
