AUDIO: Mud Dog – “Extinction”

Hardcore punks Mud Dog are out with their new album this week. The band delivers gnarly riffs and devastating attitude that they’re known for. Featuring themes of hopelessness, punishment, uncertainty and unrelenting suffering, the band channels an onslaught of existential dread that will certainly resonate with many. Guest vocals from the singers of Honey Creek and Wits End are featured on a few tracks. We live in bleak era of history where peace of mind feels hard to come by; we constantly find ourselves fighting for both internal and external control and that’s exactly what the band gets at. It’s a powerful body of work from Mud Dog; we’re delighted to hear from the Milwaukee punk scene right now.
