Kenosha-based metalcore band Leechmonger are at it this week with a new track. Sprawling for almost eight mintues, this mammoth of a song depicts a young hero awakening and embarking on a quest through a dark forest to slay a bewitched tree. The hero wields power of the ocean and of storms with an enchanted dagger; he’s ready to liberate the forest from this evil tree. After a vicious battle, the hero succeeds, and the darkness gets lifted from the land and the hero goes back to sleep. If you’re in the mood to destroy demons today, this is the song for you.
