AUDIO: Shamewave – “Grinner”
It’s in the nature of a local musician to have to find time to write and record, especially in the context of daily life that likely focuses on other responsibilities. That’s the case for the debut album from Shamewave, “Grinner”. The band’s release took five years to write and perfect, and another year or so for recording and production. The end result is worth it, though, with plenty of buzzy, harmonic energy from the shoegaze act, spread out across seven tracks. It’s a quality first effort from the young band, who show a lot of potential on tracks like “One Thousand Worms” and “No More Home”. Get your first listen to Shamewave with “Grinner” below:
