VIDEO: Mr. Nice Guy with The Keystones
One of our contributors, Ben Slowey, is more than on top of the local music scene. In addition to his work for Breaking And Entering, he also hosts the Mr. Nice Guy podcast, an interview-based show that reaches out to Milwaukeeans for conversations about what motivates them. Many of these shows fittingly involve the local music scene, and we’ll be sharing some of them here as well.
For this episode, Ben sits down with two members of rock band The Keystones, drummer Eddie Curran and vocalist/guitarist Jack Sherman (Matt Sherman and Jacob Lutzke not present). Originally from Waukesha, the band’s singles “2010”, “Miss Connection”, and “Everything I Hate to Lose” all came out this year. They discussed the band’s evolution playing in Eddie’s basement up to opening for Reignwolf at The Rave this year, their singles, middle school bullies, relationships, and Eddie’s media production company Enterprise Films.
