Surprise! Power pop band Platinum Boys announced a new album, “Raw Romance” on Thursday, and it’s out today. The new release is ten tracks of the no-frills rock and roll sound that elevated the band to their status in the city’s music scene. As opener and first single “Happens All The Time” indicates, the band doesn’t play around when it comes to the songs that make up this album, giving you tracks that are essentially pop singles with the tempo taken all the way up.
