AUDIO: Whiskey And The Devil – “Please Hold On”

If you wanted a heavy, no-frills rock record, look no further than the latest from Whiskey And The Devil, “Please Hold On”. The record is ten tracks of heavy, buzzy rock and roll dripping in distortion. Influenced by lo-fi acts like any of Jack White’s projects and Queens of the Stone Age, the band pulls no punches on the record, bringing heavy riffs to the forefront and then putting some extra kick on them for good measure. Tracks like “Mr. Downpresser” and “Unholy (Turn The Mirror)” hold nothing back and it’s the kind of sound that translates well to a live room. This is definitely a strong effort from the Milwaukee band on their latest release, and you can check it out in full below:
