AUDIO: SistaStrings – “Her Name Was”
Whether you know it or not, you’ve likely seen Monique and Chauntee Ross, aka SistaStrings backing up some of Milwaukee’s top R&B and hip hop acts. It’s a very big day for the sisters, as their first single, “Her Name Was”, is out now. The track is one of two originals from their debut EP, “Lift”, which will be released digitally on July 12th. Both sisters get vocals on this song, which literally plucks at the heartstrings with it’s soulful, bouncy tones. In addition to their skills on cello and violin, SistaStrings are bringing something refreshing and new to the Milwaukee music scene with their sound.
