Sean Anderson of local indie bands Yum Yum Cult and Antler House is creating music as much as possible it seems, and his solo side project, Supertentacles, is an example of that with a debut record, out today. While part indie, part experimental, the record is incredibly well polished, with an extensive amount of layering that creates a blissful, laid-back sound. Tracks like “Thank You” and “Invisible String” could easily end up on any contemporary indie heavy hitter’s album and sound in place. That’s not only a testament to Anderson’s songwriting, but his attention to detail in creating and performing the album. “Supertentacles” makes for a more than enjoyable listen, and you can check it out here below:
