AUDIO: Large Print – “End Scenery”

Indie rockers Large Print are back with their sophomore EP, “End Scenery”. The release follows up their September debut, “Strength VIII”, and while the band is still relatively new on the local music scene, you get a good grasp on their sound with this release. Led by a steady driving rhythm section, and capped by wonderfully deadpan vocals from frontwoman Grace Mitchell, the band has a style reminiscent of 90’s lo-fi acts that made plenty of noise in the underground. There’s no pretense to what Large Print are doing; “End Scenery” is full of simple melodies that you want to listen to over and over again. There’s a lot of potential for the band, and you can hear that for yourself with the EP below:
