While we’ve seen his softer side in the past, Milwaukee artist Jaecar is back with a new hyped-up single featuring Genesis Renji, “Take You Down”. In just about three minutes, the duo put together a footwork-ready track that has a Chicago juke feel to it. Genesis Renji keeps that feel going on his featured verse, with a Chance The Rapper-inspired flow, which normally might feel like biting, but we know that Gen has plenty more than in his bag of tricks. If the party is in full swing, this is the song that needs to be on. We’re getting some consistent output from Jaecar, and we already know that Genesis Renji isn’t slowing down any time soon.
