You will be hard pressed to find any act, local or otherwise, that sounds like Milwaukee’s Cullah. Every year, he puts out a new album on his birthday, and this was no different, with his latest, “Spectacullah”, his 13th consecutive release. With analog elements like clean acoustic guitars and his twangy vocals mixing in with digital drum machines, synths, and more, there is no genre to really place Cullah in musically. The album is a blend of just about everything you can think of, and it all comes together so well when Cullah on this self-produced, crowd-funded project. “Spectacullah” is just that, absolutely spectacular from the first moment that you give it a listen.
